Thanks Carolyn. Peak numbers are usually there at the Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly Grove between Thanksgiving and about the middle of January. Pick a day with sunshine and get there in the morning, 9AM-ish and it should be pretty amazing. I was down at the Grove yesterday (10-7-19) and the Monarchs are coming in early, which is encouraging.
